Life issue become health issues

It’s common sense to me how our life as a whole, can and does affect our health, whether we realize it or not.

From the career we have, to the spouse we choose; from the environment we live in to those we surround ourselves with; everything in our life affects our physical and emotional health.

Sure, eating healthy and regular exercise are major contributors toward our health. However, our emotional life and the structures I listed above are also significant factors.

I’d even go so far as to say that carrying around things like toxic relationships, unhealed trauma, unresolved anger & resentment, compounded daily over many years have a dramatically greater effect on our health and body than a healthy diet and exercise.

We exercise once a day & can eat healthy meals three times a day, however suffering the ill effects of unhealed anger, deep resentment & past trauma will show up all day every day.

We must look at our health from a holistic point of view rather than a myopic one; how everything in our life affects our health, including our mental and emotional state, and then make the necessary changes to improve it.

For those of you who are new to my work and are curious to learn more about what it is exactly that I do, feel free to check out my website at haroldturk.com.

Be well, talk soon and take care.
