It’s not your fault

By definition, trauma on any level & under any circumstance is not your fault; otherwise, it wouldn’t be trauma.

Regardless of how you feel you might have contributed to causing whatever happened to you, I want you to know that it wasn’t your fault, at, all.

In order for someone to continue to heal a trauma, you need to be able to get to the point where you can hear the words I’m sharing with you & begin to get it into your body; that you did not contribute to having it happen to you in any way.

At times, people make a tricky move, where they hang themselves up on the cross, by saying that it was partly their fault why something happened to them. They seem to do this, because it keeps them “safe”, stuck & in suffering, rather than having to deal with all the grief & other associated feelings that come along with it all.

Holding onto suffering or keeping yourself hung up on the cross, also has an impact on your life as a whole. It has a rippling effect throughout different areas of your life. If you look closely, you can start to see exactly how that holding on shows up by causing certain areas of your life to be stuck in a parallel way.

For all those struggling in certain areas of their life, such as their health & body, intimate relationships, craft, career, money ... you might want to consider the possibility that you have an unhealed trauma you’ve not considered as a contributory factor.
