Surgery
Surgeons, like my wife, perform surgery on people with anesthesia. I, on the other hand, do a kind of “spiritual surgery” without an anesthetic.
Of course, I would never want surgery without anesthesia.
However, in my practice, what helps people heal is not being anesthetized more than they already are.
Its intention is to sensitize people & have them regain feeling with things they’ve lost connection to.
As a reaction to trauma, the body will find ways of protecting itself that can leave us with long lasting symptoms.
These symptoms include:
Numb or hyper-sensitive body parts.
Dysfunction in areas of the body that held tightly to feelings were disconnected from.
Chronic health issues that arise from this long standing disconnection.
One intention of this work is helping people connect with painful experiences, memories, sensations & feelings they forgot about, including past traumas.
By design, it’s supposed to be uncomfortable.
This work helps people make connections & feel what they previously couldn’t, so any form of anesthesia defeats the purpose.
Some might be turned off hearing about my work as if it’s surgery, or simply for one reason or another, they just won’t be drawn to it; & that’s fine. This work is for the most committed of individuals & not just the merely interested.
It’s not supposed to win popularity contests; it’s designed to be effective. Certain styles of effective healing aren’t very popular with the masses.
This work's design is to help people integrate aspects of themselves they’ve found difficulty connecting with. It’s for those who’ve had painful experiences & need help reconnecting with or getting freedom from them.
This work is uncomfortable ... it’s supposed to be.
If change was comfortable, everyone would do it … but it’s not, & that’s why we see so few are able to shift the trajectory of their health & lives.
Either you’re committed to growth, wherein discomfort is a part of that process, or you’re committed to comfort, which will foster suffering.
You have to decide which path you’re committed to & then seek methods that resonate with you.
