The benefits of having a coach
⚡️The shortest distance between two points is a straight line, so learning from someone who already has what you want is an optimal way to achieve your goals.
⚡️A coach has already made many of the foreseeable mistakes we’re sure to experience along our path; why not learn from these & possibly avoid them altogether.
⚡️Receive honest, accurate feedback as to our misaligned behaviors, qualities, characteristics & habits from someone who’s skilled in identifying those kinds of things.
⚡️Save valuable time by sharpening our learning curve with someone who knows the way.
⚡️Save money by investing up front with someone who can mitigate the expense it takes to achieve our desired outcomes … mistakes can be costly - why not avoid them if possible.
⚡️Save energy by going to someone who can help to avoid needless struggle & great suffering, by helping us work THROUGH things that can otheriwse leave us stuck.
⚡️Help clarify our purpose & our path, by being able to see things about us that we aren’t necessarily able to see about ourselves.
⚡️Get honest & accurate feedback about how we’re occurring to others. Knowing how others experience us can be difficult to see for ourselves, which is often why we need feedback from someone to learn this. This is critical as it can often help us with many areas of our lives including work, personal & romantic relationships.
⚡️Learn from behavior modeled by your coach, especially with characteristics you struggle to inhabit. By spending quality time with those who exhibit powerful qualities about their character, we can begin to integrate them into our bodies, making them our own.
I’ve always been an advocate for having a coach, regardless of the endeavor. I thrive in the player/coach structure & it’s the only way I know how to live. Either I’m coaching someone or they’re coaching me.
