The truth will set you free

But first it will piss you off - I think it’s Gloria Steinem who first said that.

It becoming more & more clear to me that this Corona virus is not what “they” said it is. Sure it’s something, but it’s nowhere near the hype & fear of what’s been marketed. For some like myself, I’ve had a keen eye on this from the beginning, watching & listening to all sides, all the while keeping a pulse on it. For others, they are slowly coming out of their isolation & into the daylight, because they too are seeing things more clearly.

I think more & more people’s emotions & reactions to all of this new clarity will start to reveal itself as the integration process back into normal life continues. Meaning, as we continue to see the truth emerge, there will be more emotional reactions to follow because of it. There will also be those who can’t “handle the truth” (like Jack Nicholson said in a Few good men); they’ll turn a blind eye & shut that part of themselves down, so they can stay sedated in denial & get back to their life as they knew it.

Whether it’s the Corona virus or anything in life where we start to see clearly, our survival system will violently struggle to deal with truths about things that are in direct apposition & a threat to its system. People choose to stay in denial, because they don’t want to feel deeply upset or have their comfort threatened; & that’s understandable & part of what it means to be human. However, choosing to live in denial & not committed to continually awaken & heal comes with side effects. Staying unconscious has an effect on our health & body, regardless if we’re aware of it or not. Remember, the body responds to the direction of the mind. If you’re choosing to stay asleep by shutting down, the body will follow by shutting down its functions within itself as well. What shows up in the mind, shows up in the body. The body responds to the direction of the mind.
