What’s an adjustment

If defined by Webster, it would say that it’s “an alteration or movement made to achieve a desired fit, appearance or result.”

Within my work, this definition certainly fits.

Despite being a coach, healer & body-worker, I’m a Chiropractor at heart. Yes, it’s an aspect of the foundation of my early formal education, however it’s also a fundamental way in which I see things.

In short, Chiropractic seeks to help the body heal itself more optimally by applying adjustments to the spine as well as other parts of the body. By doing this, it helps align the body with the innate healing life-force we were all created with, in order for it to heal us in an optimal way.

Just as in Chiropractic, the way in which I work with clients is similar. I’m always looking for areas within my clients where subluxations (misalignments) are apparent.

Whether it’s within one’s spine, muscle fascia, spirit, thinking, an emotional disturbance or past trauma, I’m always on the lookout for where my clients are in need of an “adjustment.”

By helping my clients locate misalignments & providing the appropriate adjustments, I help remove the interference that keeps them stuck. This allows clarity to fill the space that this conflict use to inhabit.
