Ayahuasca?

If you have any sort of connection with the current pulse of popular treatments in the wellness/coaching world, you’re well aware of Ayahuasca. For those that don’t know, it’s a plant based psychedelic that helps people connect with deeper aspects of their bodies & psyche.

I’ve not done it myself, but I’ve had numerous clients, friends & colleagues take part.

I’ve heard it’s quite the ride, that includes vomiting & wild hallucinations.

I mention this, because despite the awful effects of this powerful medicine, people still seek out these & other types of ceremonies (San Pedro, psilocybin, ketamine, cacao, tobacco), because they’re desperate.

They’re desperate & committed to heal something & they’re willing to deal with whatever it’s going to take to make that happen.

The bodywork portion of my work is similar. It’s a vehicle to help people reach certain aspects of themselves that they feel talk therapy & coaching alone has difficulty reaching.

Depending on the depth you want to make connections within yourself, my work can help with that & be challenging in much the same ways.

The difference with Ayahuasca & the other ceremonies I listed, is in my work, I can control the ride my clients go on. With medicinal treatments there is significant variablity in how someone is going to react & be affected by the medicine.

With the work I do, people are sober & conscious, all the while tracking the sensations, the feelings and the insight that are revealed.

The hands-on nature & physicality of my work helps people track the entire experience, allowing them to fully
re-connect with the feelings that have been trapped within their body as we work through the various protective layering.

In order to heal any injury, including past trauma, we must re-connect with the mental, emotional, spiritual & psychic aspects of the original wound that created it.

Any healing less thorough than this will leave remnants of the wound to continually express itself in adverse ways.
