Have Faith

Hope might be good to have in one’s life, although, it’s not powerful to utilize as a strategy to accomplish things.

Anytime I hear myself or someone say, “I HOPE … happens,” I’ve been trained to be suspicious about it.

It signifies fear and doubt that something won’t happen, and the person is being passive in their approach.

Our need to hold onto HOPE when trying to accomplish something hides feelings that are begging to be communicated.

Gripping tightly to HOPE in order for something to happen is often a key factor in preventing that thing from happening; it reveals the person is holding onto fear instead of taking action and allowing things to unfold.

HOPE is not to be confused with having FAITH. Although seemingly similar, they’re very different. Hope is a survival state where someone is managing and suppressing fear, praying something will miraculously happen. It’s a passive way of being.

FAITH is knowing that everything is already worked out. Not that it will work out, but that it’s already worked out. This is a freedom state, and from this state we can take action toward whatever it is we’re trying to accomplish.
