What to do when you’re going through tough times?

⚡️Seek mentorship & guidance from those who have an expertise in how to navigate your specific struggle. Minimize your suffering by following someone who knows the way. Seek them out & ask them for help.

⚡️Start a journal. Regularly write your thoughts, feelings & plans of solution to start ridding the noise from your head.

⚡️Focus all of your resources (money, time & energy) into getting through those tough times … don’t stop until you do.

⚡️Minimize your distractions. Cut out everything & everyone who are not a contribution to your betterment. Or at the very least, all those who are a hinderance.

⚡️Spend time with those who are healthy for you to be around. If you find that there aren’t a lot of these people as you start eliminating unhealthy relationships, remember: less is more in this way. Seek better company & learn to find your own company to be enough.

⚡️Do everything you can to take care of your mental, emotional & physical health & well-being. Get a therapist, coach, or healer. Exercise daily, but don’t exhaust yourself, as this only depletes your energy.

⚡️Discipline yourself to get sufficient sleep, so you can be rested for a new day.

⚡️Eliminate or reduce drugs, alcohol & marijuana. Find healthier substitutes.

⚡️Maintain a daily morning meditation practice. And if you can, an evening one as well.

⚡️Read books that help uplift your spirit or help you gain new perspective with your life.

⚡️Learn how to ask for help, make requests, & to share what’s going on in your life without dumping on people. There’s a big difference between sharing vs. dumping.

⚡️Save yourself: In order to be able to be of service & take care of others, you must be taking care of yourself first. Be of service, not of sacrifice.

⚡️ Understand where you’ve been a victim & consider where you’re not a victim but you’re still acting like one.
